Welding Classes and Welder Certification

We are accredited through the American Welding Society as an Official Testing Facility and as a school we are licensed through Texas Workforce Commission.

What do we offer?
Hammered Out Welding was developed to equip students seeking to have a career in the welding field.

We are well versed in AWS, ASME, and ANSI standards that enables us to be a third party welding test facility for recruitment processes. We have a CWI on staff and are able to qualify/certify welders to Welding Procedure Specifications.

Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 8a.m - 12p.m. (mornings) and 1p.m - 5p.m. (afternoon). Duration of classes taught is a total of 192 hours and completed within 12 weeks!

  • AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code is the backbone of classes taught
  • Developing critical thinking skills is necessary for the fabricator 
  • Blueprints and welding symbols is how welders communicate

4. Your instructor has over 35 years of working in the field, shop, instructional institutions, and has tested hundreds of welders in East Texas for different employers.
It is not possible to teach experience but your instructor can teach from experience! Learn from someone that has worked in different areas of manufacturing, maintenance, and educational institutions. 

5. Student to instructor ratio will not exceed 8:1 to allow instructor to dedicate more one-on-one instruction.
Personal attention is given to every student to support them with developing skills to help them excel when tested by employers. Smaller class size equals more time for the instructor to work with you individually!

Welder Certification

Hammered Out Welding is an Accredited Testing Facility with the American Welding Society. We are able to provide welder qualification and welder certification. Testing is performed by appointment only.

Welding Classes

Hammered Out Welding is licensed through Texas Workforce Commission and offer two classes, Welding Fundamentals and Pipe Welding. Each class is twelve weeks and 192 hours.
